HotPot:

This clip is about a local specialty. Kind of like fondue..
It is by far the favorite dish for the locals. A few years ago there were
over 6,000 Hotpot Restaurants in the city..

WARNING:
Those with weak stomachs should not see what REAL Asian food looks like!

This array is tame compared to what locals themselves would order…
p.s.. That special sauce~ is pure beef oil. According to yin-yang, the uncooked beef is considered a cold food, then cooked in hot, it then must then return back to its former cold state in the dipping sauce. Thus, keeping balance and harmony.

I should've headed the warning. ;) I think I'll stick with American fondue! Nothing like steak that has no resemblance to the actual cow!

Ahhh... the memories you brought back!!! Although, I was just explaining to Greg that the HotPot I had was much more tame than that, and OH SO DELICIOUS!!! Can't wait to have it again one day... Miss you!

what was the last animal? Was it dog?

Ha ha.. It was a large toad... And no. I didn't eat it. :P

I have eaten dog hotpot though, on two separate occasions. It tastes a little like beef.

They have farms here to raise dogs for eating, much like you would see a cattle farm back home.

I don't enjoy dog, that much, but I do enjoy eating rabbit.

The grossest part is that he eats the eel and says "yum."

Brought back so many memories. The hot pot we had looked much better, probably tasted better too. :)
Can't wait to have it again in July!
Thanks for the video. Keep them coming.
